p.s. i also love Ozzie as well

  4. Ohh that has to be David Eckstein

or Aaron Miles from the Cardinals

    Does he count?

  5. jet lee

  6. SUPER JOE!

i never rooted against any of those guys though.

except eckstein. although i'll admit as a met fan that is was a respectful rooting against him. he was an annoyance as an opponent.

  7. Omar Vizquel

  8. I'm just going to count out all the Red Sox players so my answer won't be biased...

I've always liked David Eckstein. He's a fun guy to watch and he has a ton of "spark." I just like the certain energy he brings to teams.

  9. Omar Vizquel. One of the best defenders in the game for a long time and I appreciate a great defensive shortstop. Plus, he is a very classy guy which is kinda rare in sports now.

  10. rey ordonez

  11. Eckstein because he looked like the bat was swinging him whenever he took a big hack, and hes the only person ive ever seen hit a home run with a moving start from the right side of the plate

  12. Jacoby Ellsbury.

  13. Ian Kinsler

    David Eckstien

  14. none of them

    go denard span

  15. jacoby ellsbury

  16. I always did like the little guys. Ron Guidry, Phil Linz, Nellie Fox, and the guys on your list, too. Don't know why, but when a little guy like Freddy Patek pulls off a big play, it's nice.

  17. Miles and Yadi, both are under 6 foot so i guess their little....

  18. No Dan Uggla Tim Lincecum WOW! But out of your list I guess Pedroia.

  19. Other - Freddie Patek  5' 5" and 120 lbs dripping wet.  Whitey Herzog called Patek the greatest artificial turf SS that he ever managed - even better on the turf than Ozzie Smith according to Herzog.

  20. Omar.  He is the only one on that list to actually accomplish something besides The Wiz. His Gold Gloves speak for themselves and does everyone realize he has the second most career hits of active players only behind Griffey Jr.?  He still has shot at 3,000.

  21. Brian Roberts

  22. Pedroia he's an awesome player he has great range, and can absolutely hit the cover off the ball he near the top of the league in hits, multi hit games and has been the most consistent hitter on the redsox this year

  23. Tommy Herr, Cardinals second baseman in the 80's.

  24. Omar Vizquel

I wish he wouldnt of left Cleveland but I was watchng All bets are off with Bruce Drennon and he thinks that one day Omar will be the manager of the Cleveland Indians and I cant wait for that day, I HATE Eric Wedge

  25. nice i would have never thought i would see the name Rey Ordonez. His bat was always an issue, remember the subway series 2000 he couldn't get a d**n bunt down. That was his downfall in ny, but the upside and i could be wrong but i think he holds the consecutive games streak without an error at ss in the major leagues. unbelievable talent in the field, but his bat was nothing short of gross, still loved watching this guy. For real in 99-00 it seemed like every baseball tonight he had a web gem.
