Who is refered to as the empty golf bag , by whom and why?

It sounds like Michael Savage invented that name.

I'm pretty sure that he's referring to Rush Limbaugh, A.K.A.- hush Bimbo.

As to why Rush is referred to as the empty gold bag, is because he didn't stand up to defend Michael Savage when Savage's job was being threatened by the fascists in San Fransicko.

So I think Savage coined the term "Empty Golf Bag" to explain to his supports and listeners that he defended Rush, when he was accused of having over the counter drugs without a prescription.

What did Rush do to return Savage the favor? Nothing. He just kept on golfing.

That's the best I can explain it.
