  1. GARY ABLETT IN GEELONG

  2. Well that depends on opinion

Alot of people would say the best are

    Gary Ablett

    Ted Whitten

    Leigh Matthews

    Ron Barrassi

    Wayne Carey

    All are champion players.

Interestingly, none of these players ever won a Browlow Medal in their careers.

  3. Haydon Buton Reason He Won 3 Brownlows

  4. "Lethal" Leigh Matthews. NOw Brisbane coach. Played for Hawthorne. Voted Player of the century.

  5. They had to change the rules around Dermott Brereton who was a "predator in the forward lines" and was extremely successful at opening up space for Jason Dunstall.  But you can't go past Lethal Lee.

  6. The Great West Australian Graham "Polly" Farmer. Why? Because he changed the game forever. His use of the attacking handball changed the way the game was played. It allowed for the quick running style of play you see today being used successfully by the Bulldogs and the Pies. His career stats are as good (if not longer) than anyones.

  7. Ted "Mr Football" Whitten

  8. BARNEY. LEIGH MATTHEWS.

  9. Mine are Gary Ablett, Tony Locket, Wayne Carey (before his, hrrm, family troubles) and more currently Chris Judd.

But Matthew Pavlich is my personal favourite and will soon be up there with those names!
