Who is responsible for tree damage?

I live in a mobile community, I own the home and lease the property, the tree was on my leased property and a very large branch fell and damaged my home. Would the property owner be responsible in this case?

the property owner would be responsible, and should have insurance for this type of damage.  Also, do you have insurance on your home?

Generally your own home owners insurance covers such damage---why don't you have insurance, it's not that expensive

The property owner is responsible if negligent---was branch/tree dead and he failed to remove it?  Did you request that LL take care of tree?
