Need a quote a buy immediately for a closing on a house....

Depends what county the home is in.  Some companies have opened back up in South Florida.

THe closing is going to have to be put off.  NO ONE is going to bind coverage until 48 hours after Fay has left the area.

This should NOT be a surprise to the mortgage brokers or the closing company.  

But, fwiw, you CAN buy a policy weeks and weeks before the closing, if you want to, IF there's no storm.  If you had bought it earlier, you wouldn't have to put the closing off.

No one is going to bind coverage with a storm sitting over you!  you will have to postpone closing
