Who is surprised with the first two sets in Roger`s match ?!?

Federer taking it 6-4 7-5, the frenchman has played pretty well to even keep up with Roger in these sets. Could have went to a tiebreak but Julien couldnt convert. But hey it wasnt all smooth sailing for Roger. I was expecting a tough first set say something like 6-4 (not exactly a breeze for federer) But i thought Roger would have dominated the 2nd set completely say 6-2 0r 6-1. He`s obviously gonna come out after the rain delay and hammer him in the 3rd set.

Consider this. Roger was up 3-1 a break. Had a chance to go 4-1 in the third, and Benneteau breaks Federer. People are rooting for like crazy for Benneteau. Federer can't put him away if he gets broken. I still think Roger will win in 3 straight sets.

Not really surprised. Old man Roger usually loses steam toward the end of the French Open. Then he'll be lucky to win one set against Nadal in the final.

He bloody better cos hes shooting my nerves to pieces. I think bennet is prob playing best he can, I mean hes making some amazing shots off shots of Roger's that are really good, but at the same time Roger needs to step up his game if he wants to convince people he can take this title. I do think its partly the weather but he just doesnt seem to be playing great. His backhand is looking good tho, hope he can pick up that first serve percentage!

Yep. I think Benneteau has played extraordinarily well to keep up with Federer. I don't like the man ( roger, i mean) but he's still a class act. HOwever, when you compare the way that he's been playing and the way that Nadal has just plain blown everyone else off the court, you're gonna have to put the odds in Nadal's favour if they face each other.

How I wished the first two sets had gone the other way. I was not surprised with the first two sets in this match for I have been praying actually that Federer would have lost them. I'm sorry to tell others that I am not a fan of Roger--because he's too good and not to forget, arrogant. He has class, and I am with the French crowd to boot for a French player. People always favor the underdogs. I am one of them...

Well, Roger's the 3rd best player in the men's tournament right now.  There's no doubt about that.  Good thing he doesn't have to play Nadal or Djokovic until the finals.  The only chance he has is if Nadal and Djokovic play in the Semi's, and the final score is 7-6, 6-7, 7-6, 6-7, 7-6.  Then, Federer can win because his opponent will be exhausted.
