Who is taking the advantage from this CRAZY Gas price?

Gas price has been rising up since invasion in Iraq. What is happening? Is that because of demand outweigh supply?

Honesty, I don't think the price is gonna come down. NO WAY. Cause we need it and our demand never ever reduce.

I think we're screwed, because, as you said, demand is always high for gas. We should organize a strike of like two days without gas though. If we could make it happen through all of CA, maybe something magical could happen.

‘RC Dude’-The only oil our government buys is for strategic reserve.  So their buying weapons has no effect on the price of oil.  In fact if the government purchased a lot of oil, the laws of supply and demand say that the price would be driven up higher, due to the lowering of the supply, and increase of demand.

The price of oil is being driven up by speculators, high demand from emerging economies such as; China, India.



Can someone tell me a time when commodities deflated in value?  It doesn’t happen, because as the population grows, there is an ever growing demand for our natural resources.

The only people taking advantage of this are the OPEC countries.  If you want to fight the prices, the best thing to do is just stay home, carpool, conslidate all your errands into one trip, etc...

It's because of the major oil companies in the Middle East.  The reason Iraq hurts us b/c our taxes are paying for weapons instead of oil.

It is purely the fact that China and India are now major buyers in the market and the fuel prices have been rising every year since the beginning of petroleum, it is just faster now because there is a world market for it.  The USA still pays the cheapest prices in the world.  Ask a different country about the 8 dollars the pay for a liter!!!

President Bush is benefiting from the gas prices.  He set out to raise fuel prices and that is all he has done in his tenure.  You have to remember he is an oil man.  His father is an oil man.  d**k Chaney is a wannabe oil man.  

Gas prices will never come down again.  The oil companies have already found that Americans will pay $4.00/gallon.
