Ricky carmichael is the best MOTOCROSS racer.....bar none...some will argue that Jeremy Mcgrath is up there for SUPERCROSS, but my money would be Ricky...They just don't give anybody the nickname G.O.A.T...........it stands for Greatest Of All Time.....

there is no real good way to say that someone is the greatest rider or motocross rider ever, because the eveolution of the bike has come so far over the past 4 decades.

the bikes weigh less, have better power, better suspention, better everything. a bike from the 90's would not be too competitive in racing today...

so I go by era's. here is a list of best riders per era....

RICKY CARMICHAEL obviously hes the best but now hes sort of retired james stewart has got to be the best ,and jeremy mcgrath is no were as gud as bubba,antonio carrolli is gud aswell

Ricky i guess but bubba is close behind and why the h**l did ricky stop racing. thats sounds like something pastrana would do. wich he did  . deegan is the most respected in fmx or he should be.

I guess I would have to flip a coin between Jeremy McGrath and Ricky Carmichael.  But think I would go with Ricky.  Personally I do think my son is one of the best but that's a mothers prerogative
