getting a bit sick of the current emphasis on subhuman and destructive behaviour among footballers.

As it stands now, if the Brownlow were to be awarded tonight, for whom would you vote within your own team, and who in any of the other teams would get your vote? Best AND fairest on and off field.

My nominees are Gus Monfries of the Bombers, and Brad Johnson of the Dogs.

  1. Chris Tarrant of the Fremantle Dockers.

He is the most hard-working, unselfish, conscientious & dedicated player running around today.

  2. This years Best and Fairest (brownlow Medal night) is going to be a big one, with sydney having a fantastic start too the year,Sydney Swans Tahg Kennely, with a very good chance, not getting alot of the ball, but when he does, gets a great run but will probably get more of the ball during the season !

Brisbane Lions D.Bradshaw, also a great start to the year and is very persistant in front of the goals this year, after having the season off last year with a knee reconstruction.

Western Bulldogs B.Johnson, also great in front of the goals i agree, but has had bad luck in the past few brownlow nights. St Kildas Nic Dal Santo getting alot of the ball, but not a good chance with the Brownlow.

Carltons Big Fev may hav a chance but will have to compete with alot of better players, but is by far one of the best goal kickers and also Carltons Chris Judd easily getting alot of the ball with his new team may even lead them to a few wins.

Not a very good season but Melbournes Brock Maklean getting most of the ball, not a big goalkicker but is by far doing the moist work in the Melbourne side.

Brownlow medals should be a big one this year, but still have to see alot more of the season, should ask this question abit later in the year, closer to the night, have a fantastic year, hope youre team wins this weekend unless their Geelong, Go the Mighty Swans.

  3. David Neitz, for sure.....

ROFLMAO @ O'Keith of Sydney Swans!!!!!!! Some supporters really know their players!

  4. i think Marc Murphy of Carlton, Travis Cloke of Collingwood, Angus Monfries of Essendon, Andrew Mackie of Geelong and Lance Franklin of Hawthorn.

  5. Chris Judd

  6. Sam Mitchell or Lance Franklin

  7. From the Doggies - Adam Cooney - You don't see him in the news at all for any negative reasons. Brad Johnson is another one who seems a really nice genuine bloke, but he hasn't been playing that well in the last few weeks.

  8. Mark McVeigh (Ess)

    Joel Corey (Gee)

    Simon Goodwin (Ade)

  9. i'm kinda biased but i reckon nathan foley of richmond- he's always trying his hardest and i'm pretty sure he's never been suspended... also brad johnson, maybe ablett from geelong too...

  10. Davey of the Bombers and Ablett of the cats.

  11. jimmy bartel

  12. have to be O'Keith from Swans and without a doubt Brad Johnson the Bulldogs smiling assassin!!

I hope he gets a brownlow before hes through!

Edit - You are on the ball, Saint Kilda of Alice Springs,

My son was typing my answers while I was cooking,

he is an Eagles supporter and thinks little of Swans!

May I change my answer to O'Keefe!!

  13. NO ONE SO FAR ...!!!

  14. Would hate to loose Sam Mitchell and Lance Franklin

Would like to see Gary Ablett or Gilbee in a Hawks Jumper

  15. I don't know a thing about Australian Football but after seeing that guy punch the other player in the jaw and ko him I want to see more.

  16. My opinion would have to be Daniel Bradshaw, after coming back after having a season off due to a knee construction. I have never seen him in such good form, Bradshaw and Brown probably the best forwards in the competition.

Lance franklin is someone to look out for too if he keeps up with his goal scoring
