Well on the scale from 1 to 10 10 being the best:

Christian Bale-9.5--8.5

George Clooney-3

Val Kilmer-7.5

Michael Keaton-9.5

and heck I'll add Adam West-5

so Bale gets my vote.

Edit: I changed my mind Michael gets the vote, he played it sauve and just great I really enjoyed it.

Michael Keaton of course..but Bale is giving him a run for his money!  He just needs to chill with the voice whilst playing Batman...annoying as h**l even to a die hard fan!!

Bale is a far better actor than Keaton, though the whole voice he puts on when playing Batman is a mistake.
