  1. Tim McLelland - the same man that called George Brett out in the "Pine Tar Game"

  2. Jim Joyce.  Good strike zone and everyone in the park and living within 5 miles knows the call with his unique voice

  3. Good question here's a star. =]

I always liked Tim McCleland. He usually seems to have the fairest strike zone. Anyone is better than the guy who was umpiring for the Padres-Giants game when Zito and Peavy were on the mound. I forgot his name. =/

  4. Tim McClellan definiteley not Rob Drake

  5. Cowboy Joe West

  6. McLelland, West and the human fire hydrant, Bruce Froemming.

C.B. Bucknor is the worst. I think C.B. stands for Clueless and Blind.

  7. I like McClelland and West.

  8. Tim McCellan, everyone argues he is one of the best umps behind the plate. I hear a lot of players and managers have a problem with Phil Cuzzi.

  9. Bruce Neal Froemming

Joe west is another great umpire as well

Chris G-yes he is retired but thats one of the reason i pick him. ever red sox game he did he did get hit well it seem.

  10. In terms of the best strike zone and most consistent, I'd say its Tim McCellan. The only problem with him, though, is that he takes a good 2-3 seconds more to call the pitch than other umpires.

Bruce Froemming was good too, but I think he retired (not sure though). I just  know that everytime he called a Red Sox game, he'd get at least 2-3 foul balls hit off the arms or legs.
