  1. Most of "The Now" are near their end and much too inconsistent, sadly. Then with Isner, he has a serve but struggles with the rest of his game as does Roddick. Young doesnt have enough to contend, and maybe should contact Brad Gilbert.

The Future players, same story. Not enough game to contend.

However at The Evert Camp seems to be, hopefully, because American tennis is steadily declining, but there are a few highly regarded players coming up.

  2. Top now has to be Roddick

Future: ryan harrison, donald young, christian harrison, john isner, sam querreey

  3. roddick

  4. Only American player who has a chance now is probably Donald Young. But the best is still Pete Sampras!!!!!!!

  5. i would go with sam querrey but i dont c an american grand slam champion in the next 5-10 years to be honest

  6. Mine

    1. James Blake

    2. Andy Roddick

    3. Robby Ginepri

    Future

    1. John  Isner

    2. Jesse Levine

    3. Donald Young

  7. This makes me very sad.  I'm pulling for any of these guys to be the future.  I'm really tired of Blake, Roddick and Fish and their constant and predictable failings in the big tournaments.

On the women side.  We can only hope that Davenport and Williams sisters get and stay healthy for another 15 years.

  8. American tennis sucks. I have no faith in any of them.

  9. i would say none of them are. they have a very bleak future. Considering they have so many courts.
