  8. Michael Jordan is and was the highest paid NBA player in NBA history....

In 1997-98 season, MJ had an annual salary of $33,140,000.00  surpassing his annual salary in 1996-97 season of $30,140,000.00 making him the highest paid NBA player in NBA history....

Kevin Garnett's highest annual salary was only $28,000,000.00 when he played for the Timberwolves in 2003-04 season.

Shaq's highest annual salary was only $27,696,430.00 when he played for the Miami Heat in 2004-05 season.

    G0t it? Go0d!!!!

  9. Going by pure payroll from the team he was playing for, excluding all endorsements, etc.:

    Michael Jordan: 1997-1998 season, $33,140,000

You hear names like Shaq and Kobe, but they're are making around $30 million this year totaling in player salary and endorsements.

  10. Kevin garnett over the lifespan of his contract he signed with Minnesota averaging 20 million per year. For one year though it's Michael Jordan who signed a 30 million dollar contract for one year for his last year with the Bulls in 1998.

  11. I looked it up under google and wiki-answers, and it is Kevin Garnett! He has accumulated $165,413,420.00 in his career---wow!

  12. If we're talking for a single season, in Jordan's last run with the bulls, he was paid $35 million for that single year.

On the whole, I believe Kobe Bryant's contract of $136 million is the biggest in NBA history.

  13. Kevin Garnett was the highest paid NBA player in NBA history. He has accumulated $165,413,420 in his career playing basketball. This does not include endorsement deals either.

    Here is my proof!

  14. What up Ximun,

If you're talking pure salary i believe it's Shaquille O'Neal (over $250 million in salary over his career), K.G. has collected over $210 million.

M.J. would be #1 if you included all the money he made from endorsements which greatly over-shadow what he made from his straight salary.
