Who is the MOST IMPORTANT Wrestler in WWF/E, since the end of the "Hogan Era"?

When Hulk Hogan left the WWF for WCW, many predicted it would cripple the company, or that the WWF would go under all-together. Instead, a few key men made a HUGE impact in the months/years following Hogan's departure. I would say (in no certain order..) that The Undertaker, HBK, Stone Cold, The Rock, Mick Foley, Owen Hart, Kane, and HHH all played a big part in helping the WWF win The Monday Nite Wars...but who was "MOST IMPORTANT" of all?

  1. it's none other than the man Praying in God in ur avatar, the heart break kid shawn michaels...

he has put on more classic matches than anyone else in the last 20 years, his actions in montreal screwjob, the kilk, 4 yrs bacj injurie and returning, sufring more a concussion in 1995 and returning, he was part of the first ever ladder match, ironman match, HIAC match, and Elimination chamber match.

and he won 3/4 of these matches.

who can forget the words of HBK when he said his boyhood dream has come true!

    STARRED

  2. Though Mick Foley is my favorite, I'd have to say HHH is the most important.

  3. It's hard to pick joust one of them, so i'll say HBK stone cold

  4. All of the wrestlers in my opinion!!

No one would watch WWF back then if it weren't for the wrestlers.

Even as big as The Rock and as small as D-Lo Brown.

    10 wrestlers doesn't make a federation.

  5. Undoubtedly HBK.Not just from the Hogan Era.

But in the entire history of WWE,HBK is the greatest entertainer.

It was a great loss for the company that they id  not have him during

    the attitude era.

HHH is over exagerated for 8 to 10 years.

  6. EVERYONE WAS VERY IMPORTENT BUT I

THINK THE MOST IS BRET "HITMAN" HART

  7. Undertaker is the most important.

  8. stone cold

  9. this is a tough one.  At first when i read your list i thought the same as King KJORS; that Bret Hart not onloy should be on the list, that he should probably be the Most Important Guy!!  Then I remembered that right when WWF needed him the very most, Bret went to WCW.  *Note*- I will not say Bret Hart "sold out" and went to WCW, and never will; he is my fav. all-time wrestler and he deserves as much respect as any guy in your list.  But HBK is the most important man since Hulk Hogan left. *STARRED!*

  10. Rock,austin,hhh and taker

I enjoy watching them at wwf

  11. Stone Cold. Without him, WWE Attitude would not have happened.

  12. ME!

  13. Typical HBK fan left out the most important for the years immediately following the departure of Hogan. With out Bret Hart to carry the WWF after Hogan left the company could have went under. Taker wouldnt have been able to carry the wwf alone then, HBK wasnt ready, Owen wasnt ready, and the others you named werent even in the WWF. Then Bret leaves and Austin takes over and carries the company and HBK is gone also.

Funny how some can say HBK was the biggest part of those times yet HBK wasnt even in the WWE when it as at its biggest.

HBK wouldnt have been able to even help carry the company had bret not put him over like he did at mania.

  14. I think the next one was bret hart and then later it was shawn Michael's next it was stone cold and then last the rock and after that hogan left the company and wcw came to an end.

  15. You left out DX, they might not have been a single person, but they had a huge impact  on the Monday Night Wars. I don't think you can really narrow it down to one guy, it took everyone of those guys to come out on top.

  16. In the short term, it was WWF's anti-heros like Stone Cold and yours Truly fighting villains like Triple H.

The Undertaker has been along for the ride though.

Think about it. His career has outlasted The Rock's, Stone Cold's, Kurt Angle's, Brock Lesnar's, Sandman's, RVD's...

There are so many people that have come and gone WITHIN the dimensions of Taker's career.

He's watched the greatest rise, and fall.

He is the Deadman, he is THE man.

  17. The Undertaker followed by Triple H!! The Rock would be up there if he didnt sell out

  18. taker

  19. the undertaker for sure, hes has main event status for more than a decade and he puts 100% into every match, hogan was beginning 2 get stale in the WWF and every1 knew it, so the WWF didnt suffer as a result of him leaving for WCW, i was more worried about WCW than WWF coz hogan was getting old

  20. HBK

  21. There are several and can't be narrowed down just to one. I would honestly go with Bret Hart, as after Hogan left, the WWE went into a dark period, and Bret held down the fort during this trying time. Besides Bret, I would say Steve Austin, as he was the most popular and biggest money drawer in the Attitude Era, even out drawing Hogan in merchandise sales.

  22. Stone Cold, I'm pretty sure he drew more than Hogan ever did.

  23. Undertaker

  24. hm i would say the rock but he didn't peak till the end of the monday night wars. stone cold was a big factor 2 actually he would be my biggest guess. HBK helped give stone cold a huge push and HBk did help fuel the Attitude era. Owen Hart Helped out with pushing that 2nd tier rank, and kane and undertaker played very gud bag guys when needed. but it has to go to(i wish i didn't have to say) stone cold

  25. Bret Hart.  Twice he helped save the company.  He carried the company while VKM was nurturing and maturing future stars such as HBK, Diesel, Razor, and Stone Cold.  Then the Montreal s***w Job totally changed wrestling scene in the favor of the WWF.
