  1. steve nash, derek fisher and damon jones

  2. Steve Nash is a machine when it comes to threes.

  3. Steve Nash because on NBA Live 08, he always makes his 3's. lol.

and between Gilbert & Baron, they have both hit numerous game winning shots, so I'd say it's a tie.

  4. Steve Nash by far. He shoots .431 for his career! That's a .431!!! And even if we're talking about current best 3-point shooting PG, he shot .470 for this season (07-08). You read that right. That's a .470!!! His 3-point shooting alone is higher than most players' field goal percentage!!!

If we look at the other players you mentioned:

    Gilbert Arenas - .358

    Baron Davis - .325

    Chauncey Billups - .385

Not bad for all three of them, but as we can clearly see, Nash is phenomenal.

  5. Steve Nash

  6. steve nash seems like he always makes em

  7. rip hamilton.

    definetelly.

    aha yea peace

  8. jose calderon but im sure you havent seen him play underated imo

  9. i would say kirk Hinrich

  10. Chauncey "Big Shot" Billups

  11. best shooting point guard?  ill go with MIKE BIBBY... he is pure clutch he has a perfect form in his shot... in his prime he hit bigshot after big shot... he played big in the playoffs.... bibby is one of those players that NEVER got to the Allstar game cause of the number of household name guards in the west

  12. Ray Allen!... He can shoot anywhere beyond the arc!....

And for the ones who retired... I think Reggie Miller!....

  13. KOBE

  14. Two names come to mind.

Gilbert Arenas. That's his forte. He also has several game winners. The guy is ice cold. He's so confident it's going in that during a game against the bucks he shot it and turned around before it even went in because he knew he hit it.

Steve Nash. The guy is methodical. He has the highest three point percentage for his career out of anyone. His threes on the fast break where he just pulls up are great.

I would give this to Nash

  15. Ray Allen is by far the best 3 point shooter in the NBA but on your list i have to go with chauncy billups

  16. earl boykins.. lol jk probably gilbert arenas

  17. 1.allen iverson

    2.chris paul

    3.deron williams

  18. gilbert arenes has strokage

  19. Nash is a career 43% behind the arc, Calderon (who is the real deal) is 38% and Nash has played 10 more seasons.  To put it in perspective Nash shot 47% last season and JC shot just under 43%.  Just to point out Nash's ability, JC attempted 184 3's and Nash attempted 381.

Now some would point out that JC didn't start the whole season but I would say that TJ Ford missed a big chunk of games and Jose did start a lot of last season.  Also, Nash's minutes got cut as the season wore on so he would be fresh for the playoffs (that worked...I mean no) and had a lot more offensive players to get involved.

As for Mr. Big Shot Billups, He shot 40% last season but is a career 38% from behind the arc.  Oh yeah, his career FG% is under 42% from the field.

All that said, what I really like about all three though is that they are great free throw shooters.  They all shot 85% or better from the line, and they get into the lane and draw fouls a lot.

As for a 3 for the last shot of the game, I take Nash.  As for setting up the last play of the game I would happily take any of the 3, and in the future (2-3 years from now Calderon will be the man), I take the Raps new PG after CP3 and DWill(though Rose is still unproven).

  20. Rafer Alston I respect what yall put up but Rafer really has a great perimeter.

  21. The 2 names that come straight to mind are Arenas and Nash. Nash shoots like 40%.

I think Fisher shoots like 38% from 3 point. No one else really comes to mind. So Arenas and Nash are the top ones.

  22. Deron Williams
