  1. Troy Aikman. All the Way. How can you beat a hall of famer with the following:

    6x Pro Bowl selection (1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996)

    3x All-Pro selection (1993, 1994, 1995)

3x Super Bowl champion (XXVII, XXVIII, x*x)

    Super Bowl XXVII MVP

1997 Walter Payton Man of the Year

    1988 Davey O'Brien Award

    Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor

  4. I'd say Emmitt Smith because i think he is the best RB ever, whereas Aikman is undoubtedly a legend, but not the best QB ever.

Man i don't follow the Cowboys, but Smith is a legend to me.

  5. emmitt smith

  6. Roger Staubach. Duh!!!

  7. who is the best texas ranger ever? chuck norris

  8. ROGER THE DODGER--NUMBER 12---

  9. Tom Landry. No one did more for the organization than he did.

  10. Emmit Smith or Troy Aikman. it's hard to choose

  11. I agree with you on that Troy Aikman was a great QB.  I would say that he was the greatest Cowboy because while he was QB the Cowboys went to the super bowl and won three times under him.  He had great numbers in his short lived career but he did well while playing.  Check out his stats which I believe prove his dominance and his reason for being in the hall of fame.

His career stats are as follows,

completed 165 games, 2898 pass completions, 4175 attempts, 61.5 completion percentage, 32,942 total yards, 165 TD's, and 141 interceptions.  Those stats alone make him the best Cowboy in Dallas history.  Aikman would have had more numbers had he not gone through so many concussions which caused him to retire early.  But while he was healthy  he did very well and it was good enough to earn him a spot in the hall of fame.  Aikman set the bar for many modern day QB's and he is a great role model even today in his sports casting career..

  12. We can't forget a reciever called (Bullet) Bob Hayes know as the fastest man in the world. He was a former Olympic Gold medal winner(sprinter) Until he came along defense pretty much coverd wide receivers with a man to man look. Bob Hayes was so fast they had to invent the zone defense to attempt to cover him. 132 games (4with SF) Bullet caught 371 passes for 7,414 yrds and 75 touchdowns. He had remarkable 29 yrds per catch avg. He added 1,157 yards and 3 touch downs on punt returns.  Dallas has had the best and there are so many best of them its so very hard to choose Its an honor to be a Cowboys fan of so many great ones what a history we have.. ***********

  13. agreed!!

  14. I say Emmitt Smith what's your opinion?

  15. Me, myself, and I. (I am Troy Aikman. Want an autograph?)
