  1. as of now... Anderson Silva, but I believe that BJ Penn will soon prove himself as the best P4P fighter.

  2. lol well Jesus would be pretty hard to compete with haha.

but if we're talking mere humans then id say Fedor

    wait hes not human....hmm

  3. 1. Sakaraba he beat all the Gracies

    2. the Rock

    3. Mr. T

    4. The Bounty Hunter

    5. Magnum P.I.

  4. I'm the Best P4P fighter of all time, Ive knock out Rampage, Chuck, kimbo, and tito ortiz in less than 30 seconds, I even knocked out Anderson Silva in 41 seconds, yep Casey 'Strike 3' Cleary

  5. Wow...

Everytime I see this question it makes me mad. We will never know for sure people!!! Its an argument that goes nowhere. Every single person is going to answer this question differently. Some people will say Fedor, some will say A. Silva, and random 13 year old MMA fans will list some random fighter.

What makes me most mad is when people will list their favorite fighters as best p4p, example...

"I think Michael Bisping is the best p4p because he only has one loss"

    or

"Kimbo Slice is the best p4p because he's really strong

or, and there is that fangirl who only watches because there's "hott guys",

"Definitley Roger Huerta because he's sooooo hott!!!!"

  6. Bas Rutten three time undefeated king of Pankrase.Ufc heavyweight champion. He could have destroyed Fedor and Anderson Silva , no one in the world today knows more about overall fighting then he does.

  7. jesus

  8. how the heck is kimbo slice the best p4p fighter in mma? that is just freaking stupid.

the real answer is anderson silva.

  9. Matt Hughes. When he was in his prime no one could beat him. His slams were devestating, and his ground and pound that followed was a run through h**l.

  10. Royce Gracie... godfather of MMA... brought Brazilian Jujitsu into the mix and defeated anybody, regardless of size.  The only thing that can be argued against him is that fighters today are disciplined in multiple styles of fighting and they keep getting better.

oh and uh... I don't the Jesus would need to or have to fight anybody

  11. William Shatner.

Obviously the baddest cat alive. Don't say you've never seen those old Star Trek episodes.

  12. Rickson Gracie

  13. Probably Prof. Pierre Vigny who taught at the Bartitsu Club of London. When the Bartitsu Club closed it's doors in 1902, he opened his own School of Arms in Berners Street, London. He later relocated to Geneva Switzerland.

My second nominee is Armand Cherpillod. He was born in 1880 and started out as a Swiss wrestler. Cherpillod  started teaching MMA at the Bartitsu Club in London in 1901.

My third nominee is a mysterious person who was only known as "Re-Niè" who defeated the French La-Savate champion in ten seconds in a match that took place in Paris in 1905.

    .

  14. Regardless of looks or any other bias I think the best are in no particular order: A. Silva, Fedor E., BJ Penn, GSP, H. Gracie and an honorable mention to Couture and Faber.  You really can't say pound for pound best because of the size difference.  I would like to see a Fedor vs. Siva fight but Fedor couldn't drop thirty and Silva couldn't add fifteen without both of them losing dexterity.

  15. I can't say 1 fighter only.

Anderson Silva, GSP, Fedor, and Bj Penn are the best in my opinion. I really think Jake Shields is on his way to the top real soon. He has the best BJJ at welterwieght.

  16. Considering all fighters then I would have to say Shonie Carter is one of the best. Check out the mans stats. He isn't my favorite fighter but, I got to give him his props. He has a long diverse fighting history and an overall fight record he can be proud of. The best as of right now A. Silva, dudes got style and soon, the light heavy belt.

  17. Simple answer - FEDOR EMELIANENKO.

This is not a matter of opinion, this is a fact of life and anyone who knows anything about this sport should take it as such by now. This man is by far the best, most talented and most complete martial artist ever to step foot in the ring, or any other martial arts arena, and as far as skill and ability is concerned every other fighter previously mentioned is at least 2 or 3 levels below him. He is the most dominant champion MMA have ever had, a man who has beaten every single opponent he faced in his career, with some of his major victories being:

    - Tim Sylvia - former 2 times UFC heavyweight champion

    - "Minotauro" Nogueira at his best twice - former PRIDE heavyweight champion, current UFC heavyweight champion

    - Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic - K-1 veteran, PRIDE Open Weight GP 2006 champion

    - Mark Coleman twice - former UFC heavyweight champion, first PRIDE heavyweight GP champion

    - Kevin Randelman - former UFC heavyweight champion

    - Mark Hunt - K-1 champion

    - Semmy Schilt - 3 times K-1 champion

    - Matt Lindland - Olympic silver medalist and former UFC middleweight champion

    - Hong Man Choi - K-1 veteran who was more then a foot taller and outweighed him by over a 100 lbs

    - Heat Herring, Renato Sobral, Ricardo Arona, Kazuyuki Fujita..... and the list goes on.

No other fighter in MMA history, except "Minotauro" Nogueira perhaps, has faced this level of competition and had even remotely the same success as Fedor. Now, you can like Anderson Silva better, you can like Couture, Penn, GSP, Faber, Rutten, Gracies... or whoever else better, but simple and undeniable fact is: as far as in ring skills and abilities, career accomplishments and overall historical impact on this sport are concerned - this man is the ultimate, he is the greatest fighter world of MMA has ever seen, and trying to put someone ahead of him on this "pound for pound" list is just plain ridiculous.

  18. Anderson "The Spider" Silvia with out a doubt.

  19. Fedor

  20. Jesus was human.  He was the son of God, but he was human.  If he hadn't been, he wouldn't have died on the cross.  God sent him as a human to endure the suffering as we would know it.  BTW I love Jesus.

Urijah Faber best MMA fighter of all time..lol..i'm biased..love the kid.

  21. Urijah faber wow he's unbelievable.1 loss 20+ fights need i say more??

edit= I don't think royce gracie applies in this category he's not a fighter he's a submission artist
