  1. While I think Christian Bale is a wonderful actor I'd rather watch a Michael Keaton Batman film (Batman Returns being my favourite Batman film) as the Bale Batman films are kind of depressing and not fun at all (his stupid Batman husky, deep voice is unintentionally funny though, he almost hits the brown note). For me you can't take a man dressed as a bat too seriously so when they try to it just falls flat for me. All the superhero films need to have an element of comedy in there, even if it's only very small or dry-witted, because of the absurdity of the situation.

I wasn't too blown away with Dark Knight, Heath was brilliant and definitely the highlight (which I think was due to his ability to play the dark comedic moments well) but the rest was all pretty boring for me (and the end was stupid, why not blame the joker instead of turning Batman somewhat into a villain?).

  2. Christian Bale, his  batman movies were the best.

  3. It is all according to ur opinion..According 2 my opinion it is Sachin Tendulkar.

  4. Val Kilmer

  5. i always love the orginal actors that play a character (like bond..sean connery)..but my fave batman was val kilmer..i loved his dark, mysterious aura he had and brought to the characters

  6. I'll tell you what. I like them both.......for different reasons. See I LOVE the new Batmans, but I still like Tim Burton's first two. Well Batman Returns not so much, but you get the idea.

Here's why Keaton did so good...NO ONE wanted him when he was cast. Fans were outraged, they thought he was just some comedic actor weighing a buck nothing. Turns out he had a serious edge to him while playing Batman and he won people over because of how he handled the role.

I like Bale but can do without the Batman voice. I think he makes a better Bruce Wayne out of the two, the way he plays up the social circle of pompousness. This world of Wayne's is explored much more effectively and predominately than anything Burton did.

I like Bale because of his drive and confidence in playing the role.

Thing with him is as a Brit, he retained his American accent during press interviews of Batman Begins. That's dedication.

I just think they both brought the most to the table regarding the Batman movies and that they are products of two seperate styles. Chris Nolan's going for more realism, grittyness. Tim Burton was going for more gothic, stoic, dark humor.

  7. I actually prefer Kevin Conroy who voices him in the animated series, he portrays Batman really well.

  8. Its got to be the original....ADAM WEST..lol
