Best batsman to have played for Pak. There were many, but

among the most that stand out are Javed Miandad and Inzi.

Their careers also spanned long and both had a chance to

lead Pak and did fairly well. I addition, Pak had great

batsman such as Zaheer Abbas, Asif Iqbal, Majid Khan, Hanif

Mohammed and many more. But these 2 batsman stand out

the most. If one asks this question to any opponent - the

answer would be Miandad. He is the most feared batsman for

all teams. Inzi was equally good but he was not as feared as

Miandad was. Both their stats are very close had 8000+

runs each. Inzi was a cool customer compared with Miandad

and yet he also accumulated runs and scored plenty.

But Miandad stroke making was class and hence I chose him

to be the best.

I would say a tie between Inzamam-ul-Haq & Mohammad Yousuf. Both have served Pakistan cricket for more than a decade since 90s. While Inzi has been an attacking batsman, Yousuf has a more solid defence technique. Both have played some great innings in their career. Inzi have played some match gutsy knocks, 25 test hundreds with a top score of 329 says it all. Yousuf has been a sheet anchor for Pak, scored consecutive hundreds against West Indies in 2006.

Zaheer Abbas & Miandad have the highest test averages for Pak and I would rate them in the top 5 Pak batsmen along with Saeed Anwar who has the record for highest indicvidual ODI score.
