or Mariano Rivera

the closer has only been a thing in the past 10 years but def. mariano and i put joe nathan up there cuz every year he is good but in ten years no one will be close to carlos marmol(NASTY)

All time is definitely Mariano Rivera ask any baseball expert if they have choice of one guy to close out a game in their prime. He'll not only break your bat he'll also break any hope of a comeback.

Best closer of all time, Dennis Eckersley, he won a Cy!?!  Papelbon is probably the best out there today.

Eric Gagne on the juice. Seriously, Eckersley in his prime was almost unhittable. Modern day i'd say Rivera has been good for a long time now. trevor Hoffman definitely deserves a mention.
