seeing how you said intellectual i must say mccain if you said speaker id say obama heres why. obama talks alot of things thats very radical and dumb but he sounds good saying it. mccain sounds boring but atleast he sounds like he knows what hes talking about

I notice many people here said McCain was intellectual,I suppose by comparing him to what we as a country are used to over the past 7 years I suppose he is.But Frankly I dont believe McCain is too much more intelligent than Bush.Hillary is Very intelligent,but divisive and sometimes even cruel.Obama is very intelligent,well spoken and a true statesman.History will bear this out,regardless of weather or not he is elected

All 3 of the major candidates are political opportunists, but I find Obama to be the least reprehensible.

Obama has great oratory skills - but what he says is vague and generally panders to what the current audience wants to hear.

McCain is not as good an orator so instead he focuses on issues and concrete ideas.

Personally, I feel that it is stupid to vote for somebody for some reason as shallow as public speaking skills.

Intellectuals are not generally 'doers', the chat gets in the way of fact. At least McCain seems to be interested in his country, go for him and keep the USA within its own boundaries!.

...because he talks intellectually, whereas Obama is vague and only knows how to repeat Hope, Change, and Future like a broken record.

It looks like he hopes to change our progress and revive racism in our future.
