this is  easy it's Albert Pujols because he is the youngest player to reach 300 homeruns and even though i'm a huge red sox fan but once one time someone told me this and i realized it's the truth look at his stats:

a career batting average .333!!!!!

In my opinion, which, by the way, is very biased since I'm a Sox fan, I'd say Dustin Pedroia. He's hitting .450 in his last 27 or so games, and he's the best fielding 2nd baseman we've had in a long, long time.

Other great players are Ian Kinsler, Chase Utely, Josh Hamilton,  Manny Ramirez, Hanley Ramirez, David Wright, etc..

but for the best player, arod and manny are up there, they are both amazing players.  Lincecum strikes out everyone, and mariano rivera never gives up any hits.

very difficult question, so many factors to weigh. I gotta go with josh hamilton today, subject to change tomorrow. Overall, arod, ichiro, pujols and manny (being manny), lincecom and krod on the mound...geez this is tough, i'm sticking to josh for the moment.

Honestly it is hard to pick a best player. Some players are fast, some are great power, contact hitters or both, some are great fielders and some are pitchers with velocity, stamina accuracy or all of it. There are different positions, like you can't compare a quarterback with an OL. But if I'd have to pick a 5 tool player, it would be either Alex Rodriguez or Ichiro Suzuki. A-Rod because he is a beast and he is exceptionally well at everything. I hate to admitt that because I dislike the Yankees. Also, Ichiro has the strongest accurate arm in the majors and his 7 gold glove awards don't hurt. He has been getting 200+ hits, 100+ runs, .300+ BA, 30+ stolen bases and 8+ assists a season.
