I think the evidence on this to date, is heavily stacked in favour of CHAD CORNES.   Another good indicator is that his team, Port Adelaide is well placed in the 8.

The Best Defender in the League is Matthew Scarlett from Geelong relaible and always in the Best for the Cats each week much i dislike Geelong (being an Hawks Supporter) and tough as well

Well people are saying Brian Harris from the dogs is one of the best. I don't pay attention to defenders and the kangas dont have any decent key defenders, so I'll just have to say harris.

rutten has had an excellent year playing on all the top forwards and Scarlett is a quality full back who is finding his all Australian form again.
