  1. Darren Glass or Campbell Brown (very under rated) - Both are solid and consistent

  2. lance whitnal

  3. Ben Rutten

He kept Barry Hall, Matthew Pavlich and Anthony Rocca to 1 goal between them and then when they played Brisbane kept Jonathon Brown to only 2 goals.

  4. Mal Michael , Dustin Fletcher - their skills on saturday kept Brisbane down to a low score Michael a premiership Defender is a great matchup cause he played for bris and know his tactics and Dusty to double team wen michael was out was great way to pick up

  5. I thought James Clement of Collingwood was but the new rules of not putting hands on backs of opposition players has made it difficult for all backmen don't know

  6. I think the evidence on this to date, is heavily stacked in favour of CHAD CORNES.   Another good indicator is that his team, Port Adelaide is well placed in the 8.

  7. The Best Defender in the League is Matthew Scarlett from Geelong relaible and always in the Best for the Cats each week much i dislike Geelong (being an Hawks Supporter) and tough as well

    Cheers Justin

  8. Glenn Archer by far

  9. Well people are saying Brian Harris from the dogs is one of the best. I don't pay attention to defenders and the kangas dont have any decent key defenders, so I'll just have to say harris.

  10. Ben rutten from Adelaide or

    Mathew Scarlett from geelong.

rutten has had an excellent year playing on all the top forwards and Scarlett is a quality full back who is finding his all Australian form again.
