first of all the broncos would be nothing without lockyer i think danny buderus is the greatest player of all time because he doesn't carry the whole team like otha greats eg Andrew Johns Darryn Lockyer!!!

Can you name one? I can name many. I can see many emerging. It all depends on which position you're talking about and even which time, cuz your asking for one player from an extremely long history of heaps of guys playing this game. If you're asking me personally, I think it's my brother =P, but I guess people like Shane Webke, Wally Lewis, Sterlo, Andrew Johns and Darren Lockyer, you could probably say anyone chosen to wear a green and gold jersey that has beaten New Zealand, LoL

most will says andrew john but if he had a bad day things go against his team.im a new south wales man but the way  i see is lockyer is far better than joey.wether a club,state or international games.lockyer can make a play out of nothing.he can play two position as we know or three.i rated joey second .he is best on what he does but his teammate always rely onhim all the time to make a play unlike lockyer he has a goodplayer around him that is why he is the best.wally lewis are also great.

That would really be a lot to do with personal opinion. There are so many great players from different era's and generations which make it hard to draw a comparison. Different technologies, rules, fitness levels etc all see the game progress. You can look at Churchill Gasnier, Messenger, Irvine, Kenny, Lewis, Proven, Billy Smith, Johns, Lockeyer and how could you go past mentioning Fittler. I think they have all contributed great things and performances to the game. Too hard for me to name just one.
