  1. Richie McCaw

  2. Richie McCaw-pity he plays for a s*** team though!

P.s, It's true mate, Im a kiwi and the all blacks are just.....embarrassing

  3. McCaw and Collins are the best Flankers in the world it has been proven

  4. Must surely be Schalk Burger. No one else has a higher work rate!

  5. McCaw is da best even though New Zealand didn't win the world cup. But Collins is good too and point about Charvis, he "WAS" good but not anymore. South African Flankers are good as well but best flanker pair at the moment is Collins and McCaw

  6. Richie McCaw. Serge Betsen is far too volatile and is always getting sent off. Phil Waugh and George Smith are amazing too and also Juan Smith. Jerry Collins is the cutest though and he hits the hardest.   Must be those 58cm biceps. Biggest of any All Black ever, I understand.I do agree that he would be better at No. 8.  And don't criticise me for being a girl who just loves the guys. I used to play rugby so I know what I'm talking about.

  7. it's got to be Captain Tackles McCaw.  The man is tenacious and is the best at disrupting opposition ball.  Plus, he's a handy line-out option if you're desperate and is a great runner.  In all the years i've been following the All Blacks i think i've seen him miss 3 tackles (including a heart breaker against Australia this summer).  He's like a guided missile, just put him on the Pitch and he'll get you the ball and tackle all day long.  Pair him with Collins and it's not even worth showing up because they'll batter you (Collins) then steal the ball (McCaw).

Now before every South African has a fit, let me say that Schalk Burger is a tremendous flanker.  Unfortunately, he's also a tremendous meat head.  He's a hard worker and a good tackler, but he doesn't have any game sense.  That might be why he gets pinged for infringing all the time.  Plus, some of his tackles are borderline illegal (like that monster against Junior Polu)

  8. McCaw- Without doubt the best, due to his outstanding workload, and his ability to get away with ANYTHING at the breakdown. He can turnover any ball, and put off any fly half.

Collins- Every flanker would die for his tackling ability, but he is not as flashy in the loose or at the breakdown making him a more suitable number 8.

Burger- Basically a Collins with more natural talent. He is an enforcer who will destory any fly halfs confidence, however his discipline lets him down. Maybe if he could spend more time on the pitch he could challenge McCaw's title.

Betsen- Past it. 6 years ago maybe.

Nyanga- Was very hyped up, but hasnt been able to put the hype into perfomance.

    My top 3 would be:

    1. McCaw

    2. Burger

    3. For me, Martyn Williams, but he's bloody retired now :(

David Jones of New Zealand was without doubt the best flanker of all time, he's worth a read.

  9. Thierry Dusautoir (FRA) will be a force to be reckoned with come World Cup 2011.

His form in the heinekin cup is amazing, playing for toulouse.

  10. Richie McCaw or David Wallace like the ways he plays for munster he is right up there in the world but he doesnt show that form with internationals which is a pity!

  11. Josh Lewsey, or maybe me:)

  12. Phelan

  13. Riche McCaw or Schalk Burger.  Jerry Collins is better at Number 8.

George Smith has lost some form, but if he has a big year, he may well surpass the others.

  14. Josh Lewsy is a winger | |

To be honest, Alan QUinlann, David wallace  and Denis Leamy are all very good

  15. If you remove all the hype and bullshite..The highest points scoring forward in the world of rugby (and who plays 6,7,8) is Colin Charvis. So I guess he's the best. Martin williams is great too.
