Colin Montgomery for sure , Sergio has had so many opportunities but you can always count on him blowing it on Sunday's I bet if there was a statistic on choking on Sunday Sergio Garcia would be number 1.

Monty, no contest.  Sergio is never gonna win a major until he figures out his putting stroke.  He's way too streaky to be a factor any time soon.

Of those two, I'd say Montgomerie.  Adam Scott is actually the best player who has not yet won a major.

He's won 8 order of Merit titles, plus numerous European Titles

He has 5 second place finishes in majors and spent 400 weeks in the top 10 in the world. Garcia has only won 6 times on the PGA, and maybe twice on the European Tour.

Monty is one of the greatest players of his era while Garcia still hasn't proven anything. Garcia is younger, but hasn't accomplished nearly as much as Monty so it isn't even a question

He will (Garcia) probably win a major sometime in his life so don't give this question too much thought

Colin, by far.  He is much more accomplished, even if it's all in Europe.  Sergio, will get his major though, Colin probably not.

I would say Monty, as a character I like him, he tends to crumble under pressure - which is sad. 6-time European order of merit winner means that he has the pedigree to be best player not to win a major.

Sergio is still to mature as a player (and learn to be confident with his putting).

Monty...having a more successful career thus far than Sergio. winning 7 straight order of merits which is an incredible accomplishment, having 8 in total which is almost unheard of. His Ryder cup performances are also incredible, even though that is not an individual tournament. He has more wins than Sergio, but is also much older. Right now though, Monty is the best golfer not to have won a major between those two, and maybe the best currently playing golf.

Sergio...he has competed very close to tiger in both of their younger years. Sergio Garcia...NO DOUBT

Colin certainly has had more opportunities than Sergio simply because he's been at it longer than Sergio. Colin's 3 second place finishes and a third place finish in the US Open is a great record but I'm sure he would trade all four of those finishes for a win in any of the Majors. Sergio may be a victim of gremlins. Those are hard to shake. It's as though he looks for reason to lose. Colin is the better of the two but if Sergio gets his head screwed on right he could win several Majors.
