Dear all!!! Once and for all:This section is meant for Team Handball, Olympic handball, "European handball" a.s.o. widely p-layed in virtually any country under the sun except the English-speaking ones, whgere there's just a handful of teams. It doesn't have to do with the American ball-to-wall stuff or with racketball.

OK, so the best player in the men's game at this moment would definitely be Ivano Balic (and Croatia the team playing the best handball, though they lost out in the recent WCh.); for the women's game I'll go for Valentina Elisei-Ardean (Romania):she's the best winger in history, I think, and our generation is privileged to be able to see her

And handball is not boring: it's the most exciting ball game ever invented!

I choose three players: Ivano Balic (CROATIA), named best player in World Championships 2007 Germany and European Championships 2006 Switzerland, Talant Dujshevaeb (SPAIN), awarded best player of the XXth Century & Jackson Richardsson (FRANCE) & a former player, that actually is the BOSNIA coach Veselin Vujovic.! AWESOME PLAYERS.

Speed?

Quickness?

Agility?

Co-operation with his coach?

All-around player?

Best defender?

Best goalie?

Best forward?

I could go on this for days, but it would become annoying to everyone reading this.

I'll answer the best All-Around player, which if Ivano Balic of Croatia. He's definitely one of those guys that if you knew him from playing handball, you would really come to respect the man. For all I know, and I follow handball a lot, he is actually one of the most respected players by the whole league.

Even though his team didn't make it into the championship game because of the French (No offense, but it was a great game)

Back in my hayday, the 60's, Jim Jacobs and Paul Haber were above and beyond the best handball players. Handball is the most grueling and most challenging court sport ever devised. Certainly not boring.
