Phar Lap and Seabiscuit are my favorite horses! My favorite jockeys could be George Woolf (jockey of Seabiscuit after original jockey broke his leg), Gary Stevens (jockey of Point Given, Silver Charm, Winning Colors, to name a few), Frankie Dettori, Ron Turcotte, Pat Day, Mike Smith (jockey of Giacomo, Recently Santa Anita Derby Winner-Tiago) and Calvin Borel (jockey of Street Sense)!! Jockey? Okay, well I would have to say Edgar Prado. He really knows what to do when something goes wrong with horse on the track.

I mean look at Barbaro... if he didn't pull him up we would've not had him along as long as we did. And I really respect him for that.

The Pleb. Won two at Warracknabeal and one at Casterton with its flippers on in the late 90's in partnership with that top jock Danny Kolpin.

Without a doubt the combination of Charles S. Howard (owner) and both Sunny Jim Fitzsimmons and Tom Smith (trainers).

They proved that when you treat a horse with total respect and integrity it will willingly summon an effort from the depths of its heart to exceed its physical limitations and out perform all others by choice, not for fear of rider and whip!

Horse or jockey?  Personally I think Seabiscuit gets my vote, but a big honorable mention to Big Red himself, Secretariat.  (I'm not all that concerned with jockeys-except maybe the ones I wear.)

The jockey or the Horse. If your reffering to the horse i would say Phar Lap, although Makabye Diva has won more Melbourne cup races than Phar Lap. I would also say Seabiscuit was pretty good aswell.
