  1. John McEnroe stated yesterday that Federer is most likely the best player to have ever lived.

  2. roger federer

  3. I think Roger...........

coz believe it or not I haven't seen the others play..............

  4. In my opinions if he wins tomorrow final and got the 6 straight wimbledon title record then win at least one french open title before he retires then he is definitely the best of all time until someone comes along and break that record.

  5. Bjorn Borg.

  6. federer is the best of those

but laver is the best of all-time

  7. They are not from the same generation therefore it is hard to determine. How good would Borg be will the new tennis racquets etc? We will never know.

But surely Federer is the best ever. 17 consecutive Semi finals at Grand Slam and 4 years at 1 in the world-And thats with players like Novak and Rafa breathing down his neck.

Technically Federer is the best player ever I am sure of it. The things he can do with a tennis ball are beyond belief.

  8. Andre Agassi for winning ALL the grandslams. What people fail to realise is you cant be the BEST mens tennis player if you havent won in all surfaces.

Sure Roger Federer has won lots and lots of grandslams and is a great champion but he has failed to complete them all !!! Until he wins the French Open then he will be crowned one of the best of all time.

Rafa will win all the grandslams at one point in his career thats for sure he wont win as many grandslams as Federer has but he will achieve the ``Golden Grand Slam``!!! In saying that Roger still has plenty of time to win the French and be the best tennis player in history and it would be really nice to see him complete all the grandslams its just gonna be harder for him with all the young and up coming players but i have no doubt he will do it !!!!

    Vamos Rafa

  9. ANDRE AGASSI and PETE SAMPRASS.

  10. It depends what you mean by best - if you mean who won most matches/tournaments etc, then the records speak for themselves, and it would be Sampras, Federer and Borg.  If however, you mean to best to watch for entertainment/style/talent, then I would have to go for McEnroe and Agassi.

  11. Pete sampras by a long distance, simply because he had competition in the form of Agassi, Ivanisovic, Stephen Edburg, Jim Courier and off course Boris Becker. As for Federer, he has no one in front of him with such calibre apart from Rafael Nadal on clay so Pistol Pete for me.....

    Thanks,

  12. Bjorn Borg 'Career titles: 97 (including 62 listed by the ATP)

    Pete Sampras'Career titles: 64

    John McEnroe'Career titles: 70

Andre Agassi'Career titles: 68 (including 60 listed by the ATP)

Roger federerCareer titles: 55 still playing

All are the best in their times.........It is tough to point out yhe best among them

But as for as me  Bjorn Borg is the best because is having a great track record in both Wimbledon and French Open........
