  1. There are dozens of reliable hosting service out there.

I use the following website to compare hosting services and their pricing specials.

The site also facilitates rebates on your purchases through them. I recently used them to buy a hosting package and received the rebate. The high end package cost me .40 cents after rebate for a full year of hosting.

    Great find.

  2. The only hosting service I know of that offers a simple step by step guide to building a profitable business website is Site Build It. I used them to build my 1st website & by following their directions my site began making money in a very short time. It actually paid for itself & began earning a profit after about 4 sales. There is a detailed product review available below to answer any question you may have.

  3. America's Best Companies offers myABCspace which is a site dedicated to providing small businesses with an easy-to-use website. It offers tools and services that help you tap into the Web to compete more effectively and win more business. Your myABCspace page can be used as a stand alone webpage or as an effective way to supplement your current website while avoiding costly updates normally associated with using outside help.

With your myABCspace account you can:

    • Allow customers 24/7 access to information about your products and services.

    • Connect with the over 90% of people under the age of forty who use the Web almost exclusively to find products and services that they are looking for.

    • Easily post coupons, announcements, promotional items, pictures, videos, and just about anything you want to help promote your business!

  4. By servers, I am guessing that you mean hosting service.  Hosting servers are the computers on which your web pages will reside, after you have built your website.

You have several good options these days for hosting.  The one I keep hearing about is Gator host.  I am putting a link for them in the resources section below.

Here are a few of the criteria by which you can judge a good hosting company.

    1.  Reliable up-time.  The servers should be online 99.99% of the time.  Every hosting company say the do this, but that is not always true.

    2.  Multiple domains.  In case you want to hosting several or several hundred domains, you don't want to keep paying more money just because you need more domains.  A good host should allow you to host multiple domain names on your space without moving up your cost with each domain name you acquire.

    3. Ease of use. You should be able to manage your accounts  without a lot of technical knowledge.  Some hosts offer what  different ways of uploading your files and controlling your data.  If this gets too technical, you may want to hire help, but you should not have to do this for a simple website.

    4.  Reasonable cost.  You should not expect to pay any more than about $10 - $15.00 a month for hosting.  Further, you should not have to pay for a year up front either!  I find a lot of hosts want you to pay for a year in advance.  You may not like their service after 3 months, so I don't think you should be stuck with a provider for a year. (My opinion here).

Anyway, if you are looking for scalable service so you will have room to grow, I have a few links below, that you may want to check out.  I highly recommend the first one as it covers everything you will ever need in a host at a reasonable price.

The second one concentrates mostly on it's business opportunity but it is a hosting company and cost 10 bucks a month.  If you like what they offer, don't let their business opportunity spiel turn you off.  You can simply ignore that at get the hosting you need.  It is not as comprehensive as the first one however.

    All the best,

    coluden
