the best team in the srint events is jah mek yah, jamaica. you know y. Because a prominent country was step upon by athe anti doping commision. so guess what they can't take any more drugs. Just like their sprint Queen Mrs. jones the are a body running with drugs.

Hahaha... You are such a joke. Jamaica has no anti doping or central testing agency. They could dope and use banned substances all they want there and not get tested. Any athlete with a brain doesnt cycle at the oylmpics and thus wont get caught. The IOC testing is a joke, and is only a farce to keep unknowlegable fans happy by putting on a dog and pony show of testing.

Im not saying he is doping, but to exclude the possibility as strongly as you are is just ignorant.

Well, Jamaica is most definetely dominating the sprint events, but I can't say they are the best in all of track and field.

The Jamaican team has shown themselves to have exceptional athletic skills. After the US ha faltered time and time again, I'm now routing for Trinidad to win the 4x100.

For the track part, it's definitely Jamaica. They're plain amazing, and I agree with you -Bolt has not been taking drugs.  If they find out later that he has, that'll be just as sad as saying Phelps has been.  Jamaica has some amazing sprinters, but Kenya and countries in Africa are really good in the long distance.  I'm not sure about the field events though, television doesn't carry enough field events, it's only running.

America actually has the highest Track and Field medal count at the moment. Don't forget that we have swept two events (men's 400m hurdles, men's 400m) and have been doing well in the field events. Brian Clay is also a favorite for the decathlon gold.

As for Usain Bolt, it just seems a bit dubious that in the 14 previous encounters between the two, Wallace Spearmon won 9 of the races. Now, out of nowhere, Bolt is breaking Michael Johnson's 200 record that has stood for 12 years! I'm not accusing him of doping, I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised.

I believe Jamaica is leading in the track events...but not the field events.  The Czech republic,Russia and the US have won quite a few medals there.
