Presently, Federer. Despite his recent "struggles", losses, he still is the best of who is playing right now. Even if he loses top ranking to may guy Nadal or Novak, he still is the best. When another player can get 12 slams or/and more then can compare. Of all time though, I go with Sampras and Laver.

For the women, presently it is Serena Williams. NO one can differ that when she is healthy, uninjured, she is the one to beat. Henin is a close second, for she has versatility, an all court game as well, but needs to stay away from injury and "viruses". Of all time, Court and , Graf. Record Books dont lie. Though My fav of all time is Evert, she would be in top 5.

The one and only ROGER FEDERER. His achievements are 12 Grand Slams, 54 titles and 4 years as number 1. He is also great, because he has been through a slump lately, but did not press the panic button and kept on playing and he is through to the Monte Carlo finals. If he wins tomorrow, he gets extra points, but even if he loses he will not lose any points, because he made it to the finals of Monte Carlo last year and this year too!Go Rogi !

According to my view at the moment Roger Federer is the best in the business no doubt that he his going through a bad patch he is still the ultimate one . There are young guys like Nadal and Djokovic who have extreme potential to be no.1 and have been pecking at Federer time and time again.Records are meant to be broken and i believe Federer will out wit everyone to set a big milestone.

Men:

Federer and Roddick (can serves up to 155mph) also Nadal.

Women:

Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova,  and Justine Henin-Hardenne.

I can't pick one. They are all awesome players.

I like Jimmy Connor, Andre Agassi, and  Pete Sampras in the past. John Enroe was crazy behavior player but he had passionate to win.
