ridiculous question. Nadal is good only this year. that don't mean he can match up with federer. Federer is the best of all time. we don't even know yet nadal can win US open If he only win 2 gland slams. Federer normally wins 3 glands slams. Nadal didn't even dominate ATP tournaments. Federer usually wins almost all of ATP tournaments. Nadal's only best year isn't as good as federer's normal performance. what do you think?

Federer... he's proven himself time and time again.. Nadal may be getting better but he still has a long way.

well from the past 4 years roger federer would have been the better more accomplished tennis star..

but looking at in the moment and this year the spotlight has really turned to Nadal.. and he has earned it...

also to put it another way, nadal does have more "starpower" due to his rippling muscles, tennis attire and rugged good looks... Hes got more appeal in the media...

Well they are both great in their own way. They have really took tennis to another level, both are equally as talented in my opinion but entirely different styles on court and off. Nadal is portrayed like the s**y spainard, with the pirates pants :P and the hot t-shirts with his lovely tanned muslces on show for everyone to see, Nike have designed this outfit which suits him perfectly. Roger is more the elegant older type lol his outfits are always pretty snazzy too :) hehe. But i feel Rafa is the best in tennis :) The only player to have 5 grandslams at his age of 22. People really seem to forget Nadal is 5 years YOUNGER than Federer.

Federer is still the better star and he was the better player for 4 years.  Now this one year Nadal is a better player but still not the star like Federer.  What also helps is that Federer can communicate in a few languages.  That always helps.

in light of the recent events ( like Nadal winning not only his Roland Garros but also traditionally Federer's Wimbledon ) i have to say that, in my opinion Nadal is the best tennis player in the world at the moment and soon enough the ATP ranking will change accordingly. Federer is a very good player but i suspect that in these final months he has lost what one player needs above all : mental power. being defeated in a court that he dominated clearly for the last 4 years is a hit that can break anyone's confidence. Nadal is younger and stronger, both mentally and physically at this moment.

Federer is consistently better than Nadal in Wimbledon. Overall, he is the better star. However, you have to take into account that Federer's preferred surface is grass, and that Nadal's is clay. Nadal is better than Federer on a clay surface.
