Who is the best volleyball player ever, and who is the best right now?

I'm thinking Mireya Luis is the best ever for women, and Karch Kiraly is the best for men.

Giba's good too.

So what do all of you think, who is the best ever, and now (men/women).

I think that ultimately it is a matter of opinion. And that everyone will value a certain quality more than another. So, I do not have a real answer.

Karch Kiraly is an icon, it will be hard to ever top the skills that man had.  Now, I'm not sure because I realy haven't paid attention much lately.

I like Misty and Kerri on the beach and Logan Tom inside.  I do not see the men play often enough to pick one.

well for men i would have to say Karch Kiraly. he had all the skills and was amazing. No one will ever be able to top him. He competed at a different level and was very dominant. not only was he a good at defense he was also an offensive player.

hm.....for women.....that is harder. there were many good women players but right now i would have to say that Kerri Walsh or Misty May would be the best
