I think Howard is a better power hitter but Pujols is a better overall hitter.

pujols because he can hit a homerun to any part of the field almost whenever he wants he just has such a better swing howard most of the time doesnt even look like he knows wat hes doing its like he swings blindfolded he just swings hard

That is a tough question but I will have to edge it out to Pujols because he has such a pure swing and more orthodox... ryan howard seems to be less mechanics and more uppercut the ball out of the park or bust.

Ryan Howard is a better home run hitter, but Pujols is the best flat out hitter.

By the way, don't call Albert a home run hitter, he doesn't think of himself as one. He calls himself a line drive hitter with power.

Which he is. He takes offense at those who call him a homer hitter.

Seriously, it's not even close.  Pujols is a far superior hitter.  Just because Howard hits more homers doesn't put him in the same class as Pujols.

Pujols much better overall hitter. Ryan Howard is your traditional power hitter who's going to hit fairly low average with high strikeouts. Pujols much tougher out.
