Question:

Who is the better QB? I want to do this trade but have an eerie feeling...?

I have Eli Manning and David Garrard as my two QBs (the rest of my team is solid, I went with the two QB late draft strategy). Anyway, should I trade Garrard and DeSean Jackson for Hasselbeck? Garrard and Eli both have the possiblity of breaking out and being great QBs, while Hasselbeck has always been solid but has a ton of question marks. Any comments?

  1. Wow I am in the exact same boat as you.  I went with the 2 QB late draft strategy also and have Garrard and Aaron Rodgers. I also picked DeSean Jackson.

Do not do this trade. I'm telling you, Jackson will be the number 1 receiver in philly and get close to 1000 yards and maybe 8, 9, or even 10 tds (some on special teams returns).  The value of Jackson and Garrard who is very solid outweighs the value of hasslebeck however  consistent he may be.

  2. i would not do it with GARRARD he is a very solid qb only 3 picks last year and if you dont know picks are minus 2 and only 3 all year is fantastic.. the jags will give the colts are run for the division they are a very underated team keep garrard and try to get ride of manning he was very inconsistent last year just because they won the superbowl doesnt make manning a good fantasy player.. remember trent dilfer won with the ravens and he was terrible.. the giants defense was the reason why they won.. so keep garrard and deal manning and jackson

    hope i convienced you

  3. try to trade Eli and Jackson for Hasselbeck.

    Hasselbeck > Garrard> Eli.

Seahawks like to pass keep that in mind.

Eli is not consistent in regular season not a good fantasy player.

Garrard is okay if you cant get hasselbeck he will do it assuming u solid on RB and WR.

  4. Thats kind of dumb.  As much as I hate Eli, I think he will be solid and Garrard will do just fine on the byes and games against the cowboys

  5. If you can get Hasselbeck, definitely go for him.  Then if Eli breaks out (which I think he will soon) you can put him in.  DeSean Jackson is good, but not great so getting Hasselbeck for Jackson & an iffy QB would be a great trade.

  6. Don't do it, Jackson will be the #1 in Philly! Garrard will do great, not so much for Eli.
