D.Wade. My reasoning... look what the guy did to the Dallas Mavs in the NBA Finals a couple years ago. The refs gave him some calls... but either way that guy destroyed them. Carmelo has never done it on that big of a stage like that before. Melo is up there as an elite scorer but... there are a couple ahead of him. (No order) Kobe, Lebron, Wade.. maybe thats it

Wade. I recall last world chsampionship - wade was injured, both melo and overrated lebron couldn't do a sh.... thing against greece - the coach had to let wade on the court. he almost caught up with greece he lacked just a couple of minutes... and lebron was trembling as a kid, melo suddenly forgot how to make treys. i'm sure this olympics wade will be back with his talent and skills. melo is good in scoring, but he's not the man who makes decisive shots. luckily, kobe & wade are on the roster

They both play the game differenty.Wade is more of a slasher and cutter to the basket.While Melo is one who is not afired to get inside and take the beattings,Wade has something to prove that he is still the D-Wade of old aka nba finals 06 witch to this day he is not the frist of that draft class to win a world title.....And the heat are not the frist team to sweep the middle 3 games of a 2-3-2 format of the nba finals...But back on topic

Wade has to prove to himself and to everyone else that he can still be the wade of old missing well over 62games the past two yrs so he has more to prove and as far as

Kobe being overrated please.he is going to be the one that helps usa mens basketball back to the gold seeing there is no way to stop him

Carmelo Anthony, because he can score in many ways. not only is he taller than D-Wade, but he also has a better 3-pt shot. plus, Melo has both strength and quickness. however, D-Wade is a better overall player because he can pass and he is unselfish.

your right dude Melo is better.

Melo is a scoring machine, he's built is good enough to finish strong to the basket, he's touch is soft enough to shoot perimeters and he can shoot from the charity strip.

Wade on the otherhand doesn't really have that shooter's touch in threes. He usually drive to the basket and do his circus moves.

So scoring-wise ill go with Melo, But considering skills offensively and defensively? ill go with Wade.

In a game of horse, probably Sweet Melon.

But in a game of basketball, Flash is much better.  He makes much better shot selection.

Sweet Melon does shoot with better shot selection than Kobe (Peter Pan) though... ROFL!  Kobe's name is now synonymous to "OVERRATED."  Whoops! It's actually the backboard and the rim playing "Paul Pierce"-esque defense against Kobe.

Carmelo. He has a nice mid range jumper, and drive down the lanes easy. And ya, his stats are pretty sweet. I think he needs to improve his perimeter shooting, and need to stop trying to make his own shot(too many turnovers)

i'd say d-wade he can change his shot in mid air he got more acceleration when he drives into the basket and has a better clutch jump shot(his step back jump shot is so smooth)

so far d. wade has been the better sorer in the olympics. I think its because he has something to prove, having been hurt for practically an entire NBA season.

Carmelo is an excellent scorer. He can shoot the three, back you down, go to the rim. However, Wade is one of those players that come around one in a while. He can do everything that Carmelo can, and do it better. Also, he a has an overdrive that Carmelo doesn't have. Not only is he a better scorer, but he is a better defender and teammate. Carmelo is known to be stingy with the ball. Wade knows when to score and when to pass. I know that we agree that Wade is the better overall player, but I think he is even a better scorer as well.
