Smith's got the allround kicking/defence/passing game. Buderus is better at running to the line and may give better service. The thing about Cam Smith is, no hooker and possibly player in the world is as good at wrestling as Smith. This is very important because he slows the play down for the opposition and stifles their attack

We are looking at a rugby page here but it is an excellent question. They are both fine league hookers. Buderus the departing champion and Smith the new champ, with Farrah waiting in the wings.  Neither would make it as hooker in rugby.
