Hayden is a powerfull hitter , but he is all brute force. Yuvraj is  more of a touch player, and much more stylish. Watching him in full flow is a visual treat. Hayden can hit any bowler out of the park but he will never be able to send the ball flying over the ropes with a casual (almost lazy ) flick of the wrists. And Yuvraj is also capable of hitting really big ones- he actually hit the biggest six in ICC T20 in south africa. And last , but not the least, Hayden has never hit six sixes in an over, has he??

Matthew Hayden without doubt. Hayden has been performing well over such a long time, and he definitely possess the skill of tackling any type of bowling attack in any type of wickets. Yuvraj has been around in international cricket for quite some time now, but he hasn't played many test matches yet. Tests are indeed the real version of the game, where the true skill of a batsman is judged, and Yuvraj hasn't matured yet as a test player. Yuvi is a  definitely a big hitter for ODIs and T20s, but lately, he has been quite inconsistent with his performance. Hayden has the grit and the determination to stand for a long innings in tests, as well as the bravery to hit hard in T20s. So, still now, Hayden is miles ahead of Yuvi in terms of batting technique.
