Who is the better player Gerrard or Lampard??

Who would you rather have in your team and why?

I'd say Gerrard as he is more of a leader and leads by example tremendously well!

PS: Who'd you think will score more goals and get more assists next season?

gerrard, by far! lampard is one of the most over rated palyers in the world, he is just lucky, the only reason he is of any effect to chelsea is due to the team he has around him, even for england, gerrard id better, lampard is too lazy n gerrard more goals and assists next season =]

I'd rather have Gerrard. Both are great players but Gerrard is a better leader and doesn't miss many chances. I don't know about next season but this season i'd say goals and assists are handed over to Gerrard.

Id say very few people would say gerard is worse than lamps. Lampard is a fantastic player when they play relegation battlers at home. I think he came back from injury once and scored a hat-trick against Macclesfield and the commentator said "Lampard is back to his best". A player who earns that sort of money should not be shining only in easy games. Oh and dont give me champions league final nonsense, hew was useless and his goal took two lucky deflections to fall for him and Van de Sar slipped as he rushed out for it.

Gerard on the other hand has dug Liverpool out of some desperate situations. He is the player that if you took out of that Liverpool team you could comfortably say they would never have won the FA cup or Champ league. Tireless and effortlessly brilliant, one of the top players in premiership history and no, im not a liverpool fan.
