Who is the better trainer and why: Floyd Mayweather Sr or Freddie Roach?

Reddie Roach he's helped Paquiao win all his big fights unlike Mayweather Sr. w/ De La Hoya.

But if i had my choice of any trainer I would go with Evagalista Cotto.

I honestly don't feel Floyd Mayweather Sr. is anything special.  Freddie Roach is a far better trainer than Mayweather.  The only reason Mayweather Sr. has any notoriety is his famous son and the association with Oscar.  Roach on the other hand has proven his worth with dozens of top fighters and clearly the more accomplished of the two.

Mayweather is all talk.  He will say that he is the best trainer in the sport.  But all he does is that tap-tap nonsense on the pads.  He says that De la Hoya can only win with him, yet De la Hoya ran out of gas and lost to Mosley (2nd fight), got KO'd by Hopkins, and got his *** handed ot him by Sturm.

And Mayweather is such a loudmouth and classless character.  You would never see Freddie Roach refer to his fighter's opponent as a bum.  Neither would Eddie Futch, Angelo Dundee, Emmanuel Steward, or Buddy McGirt.  And all that does is incite an opponent to kick Mayweather's fighter's ***.  If he was my trainer, I would just tell him to STFU!!!  He talks trash and then the fighter has to deal with it (or pay for it).

Mayweather is a product of his own hype.  Roach is a well-schooled trainer who learned from the best, Eddie Futch, who was a great trainer and a greater gentleman!
