Who is the biggest influence in your life and why?

Everyone has someone they look up to and aspire to be like. Who is your biggest influence?

It sounds cliched, but I really admire my mom. She was abandoned by her husband and left jobless in rural Ohio with two young children, but she got odd jobs and earned enough money to go back to school, all while raising her kids. Today she's highly successful, and has two Bachelors degrees, an RN license, and a Masters degree. She's also quadrilingual (French, Spanish, English and Italian).

She was determined and selfless, and did anything she could to ensure that her children would have a happy life. I aspire to be as strong as she is.

My parents.  We never had much money, but I never knew that.  My parents always made sure that we were loved and cared for and that all our needs were met.  I never felt poor because I had two parents that loved me and my brothers very much.  I aspire to be hard working, honest, and to never compromise my integrity.  Thats how my parents were and that is who I strive to be daily.  I miss them both dearly.
