You can also try germanwings.com they leave edinburgh to Colonebonn, then colonebonn to Vienna.

Ryanair isnt to bad, if you fly to Linz a train will take about 2 hours to Vienna and they leave at least once an hour.

Also munich is only about 3.5 hours to vienna, so you could train it too if need be and a cheap flight was found.

Ryan air does not go to vienna according to thier website....I know klm and british and bmi fly from glasgow to vienna..........price range depends on when you are going to be travelling.  What you could do is take ryan air to Milan or Venice.....then hop a train to Austria.  good luck.
