The Royal Family of Japan do have a large collection, but nothing compared to the English Royal Family, no.

Empress Nagako was the wife of Emperor Hirohito and she died some years ago.The current Empress is Michiko.As to the jewelry.I don't know but,I have read somewhere that it is "extensive".It is an immensely wealthy family.

Empress Nagako is the Empress of Japan and i believe she has more jewels than the british queen partly because the Imperial family of Japan are very wealthy.
