Who is the easiest semi-final opponent for Federer?

Ferrer is ranked higher but he looks like he his those soft, fluffy, midcourt balls which will give Federer all kinds of time to step up and hit winners from every angle.

Monfils is not known for his mental toughness so who's tougher for Federer?

I think that Ferrer would have been more dangerous for Federer.  The crowd is going to be on Monfils side, but Roger should be able to tune them out by winning the first set.

either opponent fedex will be fine.. neither have the weapons or game to really ruin him...

I think that when it comes to the Clay court game Monfils is going to be the harder opponent, he grew up in France which is a huge advantage on the clay courts, he is very tall and moves very well which will prove to be a problem on this surface, and he plays great defense so he will extent the match and make Federer work for his points. I believe that Federer will pull out a victory but it will not be as easy as everyone thinks, Monfils has a lot of hidden talent.
