Who is the ex-baseball player turned sports announcer for LAA?

Tonight (07/28/2008) I got a compliment from a Sports Announcer for the Angels. I was in Boston at a restaurant called Legal Seafood and a VERY handsome guy introduced his self as a sports announcer for the Angles and he was only in town for the night. He mentioned he was a ex - baseball player he played pro baseball for 14 years. He was Tall Dark Hair slick back and VERY good looking. WHATS IS HIS NAME. HELP PLEASE. I have tried EVERYTHING from Google to see if i could see a picture but nothing worked. HELP please it's driving me Bananas. I didn't catch his name because I got star struck when he said he PLAYED Baseball

  1. Yeah, it's Mark Gubicza.  He pitched for the Royals in the 80s and 90s.  Two time all-star.  He finished 3rd in the Cy Young voting in 1988.  He was a key man in the rotation when the Royals won the World Series in 1985.
