Can people validate their times or are they saying it because they heard someone say so.  Car smasher Doug Howlett 2001 NZ Amateur National Athletics Championships with a respectable 10.88 in the 100m sprint.  He got third.

Takudzwa Ngwenya from the USA Eagles... he totally smoked Habana to score in the southa africa v USA pool game at Rugby World Cup!!

Im so excited- im going to go to the 7's iRB in San Diego in February- Ngwenya plays sevens too for the Eagles!  :-)

Is speed really the issue? Brian Habana is is super fast but speed coupled with skill and the ability to make speed work in rugby is a real plus. Brian Habana in my opinion is a clever and crafty player that uses his speed intelligently on the field.

Bryan Habana is an absolute flyer and i think the US winger in the RWC wouldnt get a look in if it was a straight race. Also a Fijian who didnt play in this RWC Rupeni Caucaunibuca is a lightening fast winger!

I would say its either, Habana, the winger from the USA or Isireli Bobo of Fiji.They would have to be the top 3 at the moment. Also Rupeni Caucau of Fiji, fully fit is probably as quick as Habana.

In rugby Union Tonderai chavhanga has done 10.27 for the 100m and the USA winger Ngwenya smoked Habana after been shown the touchline.

In rugby league Penny the Warrington flyer is very very quick 40 metres in 4 seconds (albeit from a moving start)including a sidestep & with ball in hand

Craig Calvert also: 12 seconds from inside his own try line to the other end of the field on a slight diagonal and slowed up slightly at the end very very quick(second youtube link)
