  1. There is so general  question...

I think about Albert Einstain... because he is a father of the theory of relativity...

Before  him  were  many  wise  men... who  were  famous mathematicians, physicists... and so on...

    Regards :)

  2. Galileo is the father of science because he invented the scientific method.  He created the tool we call science, which requires that a hypothesis be tested  in the physical world and that the evidence support the hypothesis before it is accepted.

Prior to Galileo, a hypthesis was accepted based upon it feeling right or fitting into an accepted philosophy.  Confiriming evidence was not required.

  3. Eve produced the first adam smasher!

  4. Galileo has been called the "father of modern observational astronomy" the "father of modern physics" the "father of science" and “the Father of Modern Science.”

Galileo was a physicist , mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher who played a major role in the scientific revolution. His achievements include the first systematic studies of uniformly accelerated motion , improvements to the telescope and consequent astronomical observations, and support for Copernicanism.

The motion of uniformly accelerated objects, taught in nearly all high school and introductory college physics courses, was studied by Galileo as the subject of kinematics. His contributions to observational astronomy include the discovery of the four largest satellites of Jupiter, named the Galilean moons in his honour, and the observation and analysis of sunspots. Galileo also worked in applied science and technology, improving compass design.

  5. Understand that there are many different categories of science like chemistry and physics. Also that there were many people besides the ones the books mentioned that contributed to the sciences .Like Mandelev was the father of the periodic table of elements.Sir Issac Newton discovered gravity and is the father of calculus and mechanics.Elbert Enstein created the theory of realitivity. So there is no real father of science.
