  1. Father time and mother nature are NOT related by blood. But they are related in the fact that they both are clever metaphors describing time and nature. Though, technically, the father of time was Ben Franklin.

      The legend of  Father Time depicts him as an elderly man often holding a younger child. Wikipedia has more info on him.
