Collingwood , just beat the premiers by 86 pts last weekend. The cats biggest loss since their last ,also against the Pies in '06 ..106 pts.. The AFL "umpired" the cats into the Granny last year, so Collingwoods "turn"for a flag on the AFL agenda can't be far off ! Collingwood put more "bums" on seats week by week, than any other club, so they have to be the GREATEST AFL team , and Dale Thomas, his product, sells more than any other, so he must be the BEST player, or at least most admired!

Hawthorn.

all around best player... hodge.

not only can he handle the ball, he disposes of it well and can kick it beautifully.

his tackles are hard, and he just keeps running.

although there are quite a few players like this...

they've got some good players coming through!

Statistically if taken from 1897, Carlton and Essendon are the greatest given their 16 grandfinal wins, but then from memory, Collingwood have made it to more grandfinals than any other team. Then again, back in those days they called it the VFL. From 1990 we knew it as the AFL. The teams who have been the most succesful in that time are the Brisbane Lions and the West Coast Eagles. Makes you think, doesn't it....

Port Adelaide. We were minor premiers 3 years in a row. We defeated the Brisbane Lions on their "4 in a row" "Make history" grand final match. Usually consistent and quality players as with a devoted and intelligent coach. All the elements are there. They're off to a rocky start this year, but they will improve.

Collingwood by far! they are totally awesome. and Dane Swan is the best because he is playing good consistant footy. i would have also said Scott Pendlebury but i think that Swan is playing a little better. Go Pies! I love Dale Thomas.... you know when i lived in QLD last year i was the only one in my town that knew who Dale Thomas was so i had Dale all to myself and then i move to Melbourne and every girl loves him. how unfair is that!

west coast eagles!!!....they r an amazing club they get ova everything thrown at them...a club full of class and passion driven to achieve no matter how hard they will ova come every obsticle!!...they dig deep for each other...now this year in 2008 they r driven to dig deeper more then eva before...our "baby eagles" will shine again!!

I'm a Saints supporter but Geelong are without doubt the best side in the competition.The Hawks may be on top of the ladder but Geelong have only lost 2 of their past 30 games and are the reigning premiers. They dominate in all areas and it helps having 2 of the best players goin around in Ablett and Bartel.
